Responsibilities

• Manage the complete Over-The-Counter (OTC) trade lifecycle for institutional clients, which includes providing price quotations, executing trades, and overseeing internal hedge requirements.
• Enhance trading volumes and offer market insights to clients by understanding their trading and liquidity needs, fostering trust through regular communication.
• Collaborate closely with the VIP sales team to spot new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Monitor spot and derivatives electronic OTC flow, adjusting risk metrics accordingly.
• Execute trades on DeFi and decentralized platforms when necessary.
• Support various ad-hoc tasks such as trade investigations, risk management, post-trade analysis, and algorithm performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with trade operations, developers, and quants to enhance middle-office operations, booking and reporting techniques, as well as internal pricing and execution strategies.

Requirements

• Possess a strong educational background, preferably a Masters degree in finance, engineering, or mathematics.
• Hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as an OTC Sales Trader within the financial/crypto industry.
• Demonstrated understanding of OTC trade lifecycle, pricing methods, executions, settlements, and the roles of exchanges, liquidity providers, prime brokers, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of financial markets, market microstructure, liquidity concepts, and risk exposure management.
• Excellent analytical skills, self-driven, proactive, and independent.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse team across different regions and job functions.
• Experience with electronic OTC flows and structured products is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL considered an advantage.
• Interest or experience in the crypto/DeFi industry is advantageous.
• Fluent in English, with Spanish language skills being an added advantage for coordination with overseas partners and stakeholders.
