Enterprise Insights, a newly established business unit at Improbable comprising over 30 professionals, presents compelling engineering challenges to tackle.
The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate sales of our Solutions by promptly generating insights and prototyping for potential and early-stage clients. The objective is to offer them a practical understanding of how our solutions could enhance their operations. Working closely with our presales team, you will deliver an engaging preliminary experience to potential and early-stage clients that conveys the innovation and value our Enterprise Insights solutions can provide.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our approach to new client projects, centered on mathematical and data-driven modeling. Your work will span multiple technical domains such as modeling and simulation, optimization, and AI, applied across diverse areas like supply chain logistics, robotics, financial services, and carbon accounting. Collaboration with engineering teams is key, ensuring project concepts align with our product capabilities and strategic business goals.
Your Opportunity:
- Contribute to product strategy by identifying market opportunities through interactions with both general market and potential/early-stage clients.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in modeling, simulation, digital twins, machine learning, IoT, and AI to identify additional product strategy avenues.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and academic institutions when necessary, to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers and user stakeholders, delivering exceptional experiences to them.
- Assist in defining the solution approach for new client projects to maximize core product usage and satisfaction.
- Define and target key customer and user stakeholders and profiles for the solution.
- Develop rapid prototypes, demonstrations, and minimum viable products that demonstrate prompt value creation.
- Effectively communicate customer and market insights back to the Product and Executive teams.
Why You're Suitable for This Role:
- Possess proven commercial experience, ideally within a startup setting.
- Proficiency in digital twin technology, AI, and machine learning, preferably with exposure to logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, along with adept relationship-building and client engagement abilities.
- Demonstrated history of innovation in relevant fields.
- Solid technical background in software and modeling; ideally hold a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Ability to work independently or in small teams to drive results.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating value propositions to customers and tailoring technical messages effectively.
- Skillful at prioritizing and simplifying tasks to achieve key outcomes.
