The Opportunity:
We are on the lookout for a Principal Product Designer to join the Crypto.com Innovation Lab, a secure environment dedicated to conceptualizing and developing innovative ideas, features, and products that will enhance our services or explore new avenues in various industries. In this role, you will be responsible for creating initial prototypes that will evolve into seamless end-to-end experiences, leveraging your product expertise and precise design skills.
You will become part of a design-focused organization that highly values and fosters design thinking at all levels. As a Product Designer, you will have the autonomy to translate your creative vision into reality while collaborating with a team of skilled designers, developers, and product managers dedicated to delivering exceptional user experiences.
What you'll do:
- Define and develop new product concepts
- Envision new products and features for both existing and prospective offerings of the company, taking them from ideation to implementation
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to brainstorm and define product concepts and user experience designs
- Design interfaces by rapidly creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to showcase interaction ideas and foster discussions
- Polish initial concepts into fully realized user experiences
- Establish design components such as brand marks and design system elements
- Conduct market research and present your findings
- Organize and oversee user research initiatives, including one-on-one interviews, focus groups, and usability tests
- Present concepts to the leadership team and integrate feedback into new design directions
- Collaborate with developers to bring designs to life
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of the cryptocurrency market and trading fundamentals
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a product designer focusing on digital products
- Proficient in using Figma, including components, variables, and styles
- Proven track record of solving complex problems and deep understanding of user-centered design and UX principles
- Familiarity with various research methodologies and the ability to select the most appropriate ones as needed
- Demonstrated ability to define product vision, utilize data and experimentation for informed product development
- Excellent communication skills for articulating design decisions and presenting to clients and stakeholders
- Strong leadership abilities and skill in forming solid partnerships with product managers and engineering teams
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in a design agency working on end-to-end product development
- Knowledge of diverse design tools and coding languages, such as C4D and AE
- Familiarity with designing web landing pages and understanding the specific constraints of web design
