Key Responsibilities:
Circle is in search of a results-driven Product Marketing Manager with a consulting background and a deep understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency space to join our team.
The selected individual will be instrumental in establishing a robust competitive intelligence function within the product marketing team. This role is crucial in shaping our product marketing strategy by developing insightful competitive analyses that will inform the positioning and messaging of Circle's offerings for various sectors like banking, fintech, exchanges, payments, and Web3. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, marketing, and communications, is a key aspect of this role.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth customer research to grasp the needs and behaviors of distinct market segments, leveraging this insight to tailor messaging and marketing strategies to resonate with target audiences.
- Lead the development of the competitive intelligence function within the product marketing team to understand market dynamics, competitor strategies, and emerging trends in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to communicate competitive intelligence insights that influence product strategy and marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive repository of competitive landscape data and provide actionable intelligence to senior stakeholders.
- Conduct training sessions for sales and marketing teams on competitive positioning and market trends.
- Engage with industry analysts and conduct primary research to validate competitive product assumptions and understand customer needs and perceptions.
- Monitor competitor marketing activities, product developments, and customer engagement strategies to adjust market strategies proactively.
- Act as the primary resource for competitive intelligence within the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in B2B product marketing or competitive intelligence, with a preference for a background in management consulting.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate efficiently with a proactive approach to daily tasks.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in simplifying complex concepts for clarity.
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience collaborating cross-functionally.
- Preferred experience in the crypto/web3 or payments industry.
- Enthusiasm for exploring innovative marketing approaches in a rapidly evolving industry without set guidelines to follow.
Additional Details:
- This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.
- Starting pay ranges from $175,000 to $225,000 with an annual bonus target of 17.5%.
- Other benefits include equity, medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) plan, flexible vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave per year, and 11 paid holidays per year within the U.S.
