Principal Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of backend infrastructure for our developer platform and APIs, shaping the team's execution against this vision.
- Architect, construct, and manage highly scalable and dependable infrastructure, APIs, and services.
- Participate in system design discussions, stand-ups, and code reviews to drive best practices for backend infrastructure, emphasizing throughput, reliability, and latency.
- Troubleshoot production issues across services and various stack levels.
- Engage with engineers, product managers, and designers to promote a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
- Proficient in designing, building, and scaling core backend components, with experience in API platforms being a plus.
- Skilled in resolving intricate design, performance, and scalability issues in high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Hands-on experience in Java, Golang, or C++ in a production environment.
- Familiarity with Cloud Native ecosystems, particularly AWS.
- Experience with managed Kubernetes layers like AWS EKS is beneficial.
- Demonstrates a proactive and independent approach to task execution.
- Capable of balancing quality with timely delivery.

The salary range for this role is estimated between $135,000 to $350,000 annually based on relevant factors like experience, skill set, and qualifications.
