Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Principal Visual Designer to enhance the quality and coherence of our product experiences. By establishing a strong visual language and design framework, you will guide and mentor team members to uphold consistent design standards. Your role involves deeply understanding customer needs, leading the visual direction of Circle’s product suite, overseeing standalone projects, and ensuring exceptional user interactions across all touchpoints.

Key Duties:

• Develop key design elements supporting our products
• Refine and standardize visual design approach
• Create prototypes and motion design to communicate ideas effectively
• Maintain visual consistency throughout customer engagements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on design processes and priorities
• Lend expertise to the growth of the design team by setting best practices and scalable processes

Qualifications for Lead Visual Designer:

• Minimum of 7 years of visual/UI design experience
• Strong track record of iterative design approach
• Ability to convey complex concepts visually
• Familiarity with cross-channel and multi-platform design considerations
• Preference for minimalist design principles
• Proficiency in design systems implementation
• Experience with consumer and B2B/SASS digital product design

Additional Qualifications for Principal Visual Designer:

• All requirements of Lead Visual Designer, plus:
• More than 12 years of visual/UI design experience
• Demonstrated impact on design processes and business outcomes
• Strong ability to align design contributions with broader product goals
• Regular involvement in design team processes and systems-driven design approach

Compensation Package:

• Lead Visual Designer:
• Base Salary Range: $157,500 - $207,500
• Annual Bonus Target: 15%
• Principal Visual Designer:
• Base Salary Range: $187,500 - $240,000
• Annual Bonus Target: 17.5%
• Additional Benefits: Equity, Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) contributions
