Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Principal Visual Designer to enhance the quality and cohesiveness of our designs, drive consistency, and provide guidance to nurture a design-centric culture within the organization. Your role will involve developing a deep understanding of customer needs, establishing the visual language and interaction standards for Circle's products, and contributing to projects that directly impact customer satisfaction and business performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure exceptional user experiences across our platforms.

Key Tasks:

• Define and foster the usage of foundational design elements in product development
• Evolve and standardize the visual language of our design experiences, with a focus on iterative refinement
• Utilize prototypes and motion design to convey design concepts effectively
• Ensure visual coherence across all customer touchpoints
• Support product development by upholding the high design standards set forth
• Collaborate with multiple teams to align on processes and prioritize design needs
• Contribute to the growth and enhancement of the design team, instilling best practices and scalability in our products

Qualifications for Lead Visual Designer:

• Over 7 years of visual/UI design experience, directing the visual direction of projects
• Adept at iterating designs to enhance user experiences
• Capability to articulate complex ideas through visual representation
• Understanding of designing for varied platforms, from desktop to mobile
• Strong affinity for minimalist design principles
• Proficiency in implementing design systems in daily workflows
• Experience designing for both consumer-facing and B2B/SaaS digital products

Qualifications for Principal Visual Designer:

All qualifications of Lead Visual Designer, plus:

• More than 12 years of visual/UI design experience with a direct impact on look and feel
• Demonstrated influence of design decisions on process and business outcomes
• Ability to draw connections between different product areas to address similar challenges cohesively
• Regular contribution to streamlining design processes and utilization of design systems for component development
