What you’ll be responsible for: Circle seeks a Principal Visual Designer to enhance the quality and coherence of their user experiences, establishing consistent visual elements and guiding others within the organization to maintain the same standards. By deeply understanding customer needs, the candidate will lead the visual language and interaction patterns for Circle's product suite, including standalone experiences and projects that drive customer and business success. Collaborating closely with Product Management, Engineering, and fellow designers, the Principal Visual Designer will ensure exceptional user experiences across all interactions.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

Lead Visual Designer:

  • Over 7 years of visual and/or UI design experience, leading design direction
  • Passion for refining work to create successful user experiences
  • Ability to convey complex concepts visually
  • Proficiency in designing consistent cross-channel experiences
  • Embrace a "less is more" design approach
  • Familiarity with design systems and complex product designs

Principal Visual Designer (Require:

  • All Lead Visual Designer requirements plus:
  • Over 12 years of visual/UI design experience with direct ownership of design outcomes
  • Demonstrated impact of design decisions on processes and business results
  • Ability to connect design work to resolve common issues across product areas
  • Regular contribution to design team processes and system-based design elements

Key Information: This role offers day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates. Initial compensation is based on factors such as experience, skills, and business needs. Compensation ranges differ by location. Lead Visual Designer:

  • Base Pay Range: $157,500 - $207,500
  • Annual Bonus Target: 15% Principal Visual Designer:
  • Base Pay Range: $187,500 - $240,000
