Role Overview

Join our product design teams at OKX as a Principal Product Designer to influence and elevate the crypto experience landscape. In this role, you play a key role in crafting intuitive, reliable, and visually appealing user experiences that set industry standards in the rapidly evolving crypto space. Collaborating with a diverse team, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, you will lead the transformation of ideas into design-driven solutions that resonate with users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Translate insights from Product, Engineering, and Marketing into comprehensive design deliverables throughout the product development cycle.
• Address design challenges from inception to execution, creating disruptive new products and features guided by qualitative and quantitative research.
• Provide support in the product development process through wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define initiatives and deliver user-centric solutions from product ideation to launch.
• Work closely with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership to shape the overall design vision in your area of expertise.
• Elevate design quality through feedback solicitation, design reviews, presentations, and design thinking workshops.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of articulating ideas effectively to advocate for design decisions.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams across design, product management, engineering, and research.
• Proficiency in design thinking, user-centered design methodologies, and an eye for delivering intuitive user experiences.
• Results-driven, adaptable to change, and capable of independent validation through experimentation and research.
• Diverse portfolio showcasing design expertise throughout your career.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in designing for Fintech, Investment platforms, or Crypto products.
• Ability to work effectively with global teams in various time zones.
• Interest in mentoring peers and promoting a culture of great design practices.
