The Opportunity
Crypto.com seeks a Product Design Manager to head a team of designers within the Exchange sector. The hired individual will have a crucial role in steering the design direction across various products in web and mobile apps, supporting product designers, collaborating with product managers, and cultivating a positive environment for the team to produce high-quality designs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a group of designers through collaboration, providing feedback, and giving direction.
- Generate designs to guide product and feature development, convey concepts, or offer additional assistance.
- Coordinate with different product managers overseeing various Exchange features to set deadlines, schedules, and priorities.
- Offer guidance, coaching, and support to the designers, establishing a positive design atmosphere to nurture their development.
- Create, uphold, and update an efficient design process for the team.
- Share your extensive expertise and design knowledge to mentor other designers.
- Organize and facilitate user research endeavors like one-on-one interviews, focus groups, or usability tests.
- Work with the executive team to comprehend and implement the overarching vision and direction.
- Present and convey design directives, choices, and rationale to other teams.
- Actively utilize and engage with the exchange platform, identifying design and product issues within the team.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working within a prominent trading team.
- Must have trading experience.
- Possess exceptional knowledge of design as a practice and be able to provide a profound skillset collectively.
- Extensive background in designing multiple B2C digital products/services targeted at global audiences.
- Solid portfolio exhibiting digital product and service design examples.
- Thorough comprehension of user-centered design and user experience principles, coupled with a keen creative vision to structure design roadmaps with senior stakeholders.
- Capability to supervise and handle various projects while delivering high-quality products on a large scale.
- Experience in developing and coaching a design team.
- A seasoned leader with a robust creative vision that comprehends business objectives, leadership, and excels in executing ideas with the product design team.
- Portfolio submission is mandatory for consideration.
