The Opportunity
Crypto.com seeks a proactive Product Design Manager to lead and oversee a team of designers in the Exchange segment. In this role, you will have a significant impact on influencing the design trajectory across various products within web and mobile applications, supporting fellow product designers, collaborating with product managers, and cultivating a conducive environment for your team to deliver top-notch designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a group of designers by engaging in design collaboration, feedback sessions, and providing direction.
- Generate designs to shape product and feature strategies, convey ideas, or offer additional assistance.
- Partner with different product managers in charge of various Exchange features to set deadlines, ensure timely delivery, and align on priorities.
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and support to your designers, fostering a positive design environment that nurtures their development.
- Establish, update, and uphold an effective design process for your team.
- Share your profound design expertise and insights to mentor colleagues in design.
- Spearhead and facilitate user research endeavors, including one-on-one user interviews, focus groups, and usability tests.
- Work closely with the executive team to grasp and implement the overarching vision and direction.
- Articulate and convey design strategies, decisions, and reasoning to other teams.
- Actively engage on the exchange platform and identify and address any design or product-related issues to the team.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a leading trading team.
- A background in trading is essential for this role.
- Profound knowledge of design principles and the ability to contribute a diverse skill set to the team.
- Extensive experience in designing multiple B2C digital products/services tailored for global audiences.
- A robust portfolio showcasing work examples of digital product and service design.
- In-depth comprehension of user-centered design and user experience principles, coupled with a solid creative vision to devise design roadmaps in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Proficient in overseeing and managing various projects while delivering quality products at scale.
- Previous experience in developing and coaching a design team.
