Description

Merkle Science is in search of a dedicated individual to fill the position of Product Lead – Investigations Product Management & Marketing. The primary focus of this role is to lead the strategy, positioning, and execution of the Investigations product Tracker. Ideal for candidates who excel in overseeing product development, go-to-market strategy, and customer engagement within a rapidly growing startup environment.

As the Product Lead, you will report to the Product Manager responsible for the Investigations product. Your main responsibilities include closely collaborating with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to shape and implement the investigation-focused product roadmap. This entails ensuring that our solutions are effectively positioned in the market to drive strong customer adoption and revenue growth among legal enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and compliance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and take ownership of the Investigations product roadmap, aligning it with market demands, company objectives, and customer input.
  • Carry out market research and competitive analysis to guide product development and differentiation strategies focused on investigations and forensic analytics.
  • Work in tandem with engineering teams to outline product requirements, prioritize features, and oversee execution, particularly in the realm of cryptocurrency-related investigations.
  • Collaborate with customer success and sales teams to identify pain points of investigation professionals, boost adoption rates, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Define and monitor product KPIs, evaluating success through customer adoption, retention rates, and revenue impact.
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that effectively conveys the value of Merkle Science's Investigations product for legal enforcement and compliance professionals.
  • Lead the development of investigation-centric sales support materials, whitepapers, case studies, and competitive analysis tools to bolster the go-to-market strategy.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to drive demand generation via investigation-focused content, campaigns, and events.
  • Collaborate with business development and sales teams to refine the product's value proposition and identify potential upsell opportunities for investigation-focused users.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or go-to-market strategy in a B2B SaaS company (experience in crypto or fintech is advantageous).
  • Profound knowledge of blockchain investigations and financial crime risk management is highly beneficial.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling B2B SaaS products within a dynamic environment.
  • Hands-on experience with customer research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convert intricate technical concepts into clear, engaging messaging tailored for investigation professionals.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer success.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
