Description
We are looking for a Growth Product Manager with approximately 3 years of experience to lead user research, optimize products, and drive strategic growth initiatives. In this role, you will analyze both qualitative and quantitative data, devise and execute research, and craft data-informed strategies to elevate user retention and engagement. Your contributions within our dynamic team will have a direct influence on the product experience and assist in making data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
User Research Design and Execution
- Plan and conduct user interviews, surveys, and feedback collection to gather qualitative insights on user needs, motivations, and pain points.
- Create focused user testing for specific user demographics or product features to ensure valuable feedback is obtained.
Data Collection and Analysis
- Define key data metrics and an analytical framework to maintain accurate and comprehensive product and user data.
- Analyze user behavior and preferences by combining quantitative data (e.g., usage data, conversion rates) and qualitative insights.
- Utilize basic analytics tools for data collection and analysis to identify critical user experience issues.
Optimization Strategy Development
- Develop actionable product optimization strategies based on user research findings and behavioral data, including feature adjustments, UI enhancements, and onboarding flow improvements.
- Identify key opportunities for product improvements and offer data-supported recommendations to the product team to enhance user retention and engagement.
User Testing and Feedback Collection
- Conduct regular user testing and gather feedback to validate optimization strategies.
- Monitor core improvement metrics (e.g., retention rates, conversion rates) and continually refine product strategies based on data insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate research insights and feedback into actionable product enhancements.
- effectively communicate user needs and insights to the product development team to ensure product design aligns with user expectations.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin for verbal communication (written skills not required)
- Experience in a high-growth startup
- Knowledge of growth hacking strategies and growth loops.
- Fundamental understanding of UX/UI principles and user-centered design.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in growth product management, product management, or similar role, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with A/B testing, growth metrics, and data analysis tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, SQL.
- Familiarity with qualitative research methods, including user interviews and surveys.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Creative problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
- Passionate about understanding user behavior and translating insights into impactful product changes.
