Primary Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in the Blockchain team, you will focus on incorporating cutting-edge blockchain technology into our current ecosystem, such as lightning network adoption.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain Cryptonodes and relevant services that engage with different segments of the Crypto ecosystem.
• Engineer efficient, scalable, and sustainable solutions for high-performing backend systems with event-driven architecture using AWS and Kafka.
• Develop loosely linked microservices that underpin the core business service across the organization.
• Collaborate with a team of proficient developers who offer guidance and support to enhance your learning journey.

Desired Qualifications

• Display fundamental knowledge and interest in Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology with a strong desire to expand expertise.
• Possess at least intermediate proficiency in Python, focusing on API development, including the implementation of type hints and annotations for code optimization.
• Experience utilizing relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB), proficient in API design, websocket management, and network communication.
• Understanding of event-driven design, embracing concepts like event streams and message brokers (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Familiarity with AWS Services, trading/market dynamics, DevOps infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, AI, smart contracts, Cryptonodes, and Web3 is highly advantageous.
