As a regulated entity under the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Nadex offers innovative market participation opportunities in a secure environment.
Nadex, a subsidiary of our organization, operates as a fully regulated derivatives exchange based in Chicago. It stands out as the first exchange where retail investors can directly become members without the need for a broker. The exchange lists innovative capped-risk derivatives contracts across a wide range of global financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Create simulators and automation tools for load, performance, and functional testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to validate trading workflows.
- Investigate and address test failures, optimize performance, and enhance test coverage.
- Produce and update technical documentation for testing tools and processes.
- Integrate with observability systems for continuous performance monitoring support.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in QA Automation testing.
- Proficiency in UI automation using Selenium with Java and/or Playwright with JavaScript.
- Strong skills in API automation using RestAssured.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, or equivalent.
- Proficient in Java and/or JavaScript for test automation.
- Solid grasp of software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience in testing RESTful APIs and working with JSON payloads.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
