Description
The team responsible for the exchange platform's development operates globally across APAC, EMEA, and North America. Alongside enhancing the trading experience for clients, the team continuously advances cutting-edge technology on the trading platform.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with QA manager and development teams to grasp product features and architecture.
- Develop, implement, and sustain test cases utilizing JBehave/Cucumber frameworks.
- Contribute to automation testing processes to minimize manual regression efforts.
- Generate relevant test scenarios based on crypto trading business processes and system workflows.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for various components like Order Gateway, Execution Algo, Market Data, Risk, and Middle Office.
- Aid in enhancing test coverage across services for effective monitoring.
- Support in bug replication, investigation, and collaborate with developers on identifying root causes.
- Engage in regular test cycle planning and release validation activities.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Fundamental understanding of crypto trading workflows encompassing exchange matching, order lifecycle, and execution logic.
- Familiarity with middle office activities such as trade reconciliation.
- Practical experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or JBehave.
- Proficient in independently drafting test cases and scenarios.
- Some exposure to test automation, especially with Java-based tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and source control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach and commitment to issue resolution.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of FIX, WebSocket, or REST protocols utilized in trading systems.
