Quantitative Researcher / Trader

Our company is seeking Quantitative Traders with a proven track record in live trading to take on a fully remote role. As a Quantitative Trader, you will manage your own desk with P&L responsibilities within a highly respected fund. Candidates should have proficient coding skills to help in implementing innovative trading ideas and a keen interest in mid to long-term frequency trading, quantitative trading, and some exposure to cryptocurrency trading.

This role will require extensive research and development in testing and creating trading strategies as a desk owner overseeing P&L responsibility. Responsibilities include researching, implementing, and executing strategies, as well as automating them where applicable.

Requirements

• Demonstrable track record of profitability in cryptocurrency trading
• An MSc/PhD in a STEM field
• Degree from a reputable university
• Strong enthusiasm for developing quantitative trading strategies and interpreting conclusions from large datasets
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic trading, focusing on mid to long-term strategies in the cryptocurrency space
• Proficient coding skills with 3-5 years of experience in Python, Golang, Matlab, or R
• Essential experience in algorithmic trading, either personal or professional
• Completion of a minimum 3-month internship or full-time position at a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund as a Quantitative Researcher/Trader, involving previous work on alpha-related projects

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience as a Quantitative Trader/Researcher
• Background in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or Deep Learning
• Familiarity with the DeFi and Web 3.0 ecosystem

Salary

For candidates residing outside of Asia, salary will be based on Asian standards, not the candidate's local cost of living.
