Rust Engineer (Greenfield project)

Overview

We are seeking an individual to join our dynamic team dedicated to designing, developing, and enhancing software for a range of venture projects. These projects are closely tied to our core businesses and are agilely developed with a small, efficient team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in designing various elements of scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake development tasks such as proposing architectural solutions, contributing to designs, conducting design and code reviews, and implementing solutions for complex issues within the blockchain protocol.
• Address challenging problems across the blockchain protocol and collaborate with operations and infrastructure teams to construct high-scale backend services.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all implemented code and features.
• Collaborate with DevOps and ecosystem engineers to enhance the tech stack for long-term engineering endeavors.

• Demonstrated experience of 5+ years in engineering, preferably with a focus on backend development (e.g., Go, Rust, Java, Erlang).
• Proficiency in utilizing basic cryptographic primitives (e.g., BouncyCastle in Java) such as digital signatures, symmetrical and asymmetrical encryption, and key exchange.
• Fundamental understanding of distributed systems and familiarity with consensus algorithms like Raft or PBFT.
• Prior experience or keen interest in Go or Rust.
• Previous exposure to blockchain system internals is advantageous but not mandatory.
