SDET (Python) - Trading Tech

Binance, a prominent global blockchain ecosystem and the home of the largest cryptocurrency exchange globally, is seeking a skilled SDET (mid to senior level) to drive and support Integration Testing for its high-performance backend software stack.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the complete testing life cycle, involving test design capturing changes, script development, execution confirmation, integration into the framework, and continuous enhancement for increased automation.

This full-time role offers a hybrid working setup in the APAC region.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members (Developers, Product Manager, and Partners) to create, test, and deliver top-notch software products.
• Design, develop scripted Python tests for integration scenarios.
• Prepare integration test scenarios for upcoming features, integrate them into CI, and ensure QA approval before production.
• Investigate issues hands-on, identify root causes, and communicate efficiently with other teams.
• Identify and prioritize deficiencies in existing integration test scripts and implement enhancements.
• Improve the integration framework for better automation and reporting.
• Previous experience as a Developer would be beneficial.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of backend QA engineering experience.
• Proficiency in full-cycle testing, including designing manual tests, script development, and execution.
• Strong skills in UNIX/Linux.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
• Experience in testing backend services such as APIs, Databases, and distributed services.
• Ability to enjoy problem-solving and breaking down issues to determine both 'what' and 'why'.
• Fluency in English is necessary for coordination with international partners and stakeholders. Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
