Role Overview:
As a Security Engineer at Toku, you will be involved in fortifying one of the most advanced and high-volume distributed systems in global employment and token compensation. Your primary responsibilities will focus on developing and implementing web-application security tools to safeguard the platform and sensitive data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incorporate dynamic and static application security testing into the CI/CD pipeline
- Identify and address risks within features, products, infrastructure, and acquisitions
- Establish and enforce best practices in web-application security across development and deployment processes
- Detect, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities in real-time
- Promote security protocols and compliance by training and collaborating with engineers and other team members
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in software security, operations, with prior exposure to early-stage startups
- Profound knowledge of web security, TLS/SSL, web authentication, and applied cryptography
- Familiarity with threat modeling and industry-standard security tools
- Experience working with platforms like DigitalOcean
- Proactive approach and ability to independently implement new ideas
