Security IT Operations - AI Champion

We are in need of a self-motivated and proficient individual to take on the role of Security IT Operations - AI Champion. The primary focus of this position is to drive the integration of AI solutions into our IT operations, specifically enhancing security measures. This individual will play a pivotal role in utilizing AI tools and technologies to streamline processes, automate tasks, and fortify our security protocols. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT operations, a deep understanding of best security practices, and hands-on experience in applying AI/ML to tackle real-world issues.

Responsibilities

• Spearheading the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of AI-based solutions to boost IT operations efficiency and fortify security measures.
• Collaborating with IT Operations teams to guarantee smooth and secure IT operations that align with business requirements, emphasizing a security-centric approach.
• Supporting the standardization of IT operations on a global scale, collaborating with regional teams to synchronize processes and embed robust security controls.
• Playing a crucial role in incident response and risk mitigation by identifying and resolving IT Operations issues, with a focus on addressing security risks.
• Overseeing vulnerability management by identifying, prioritizing, testing, and deploying patches and updates to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities, while minimizing disruptions.
• Promoting a security-oriented culture by advocating for proactive risk assessments, effective vulnerability management, and adherence to industry best practices.
• Participating in vendor management, resource allocation, and operational planning to prioritize security considerations.
• Assisting in tracking inventory, project statuses, and operational metrics, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
• Providing after-hours support for critical IT Operations issues to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in AI tools, machine learning models, and automation platforms, with a strong focus on applying AI solutions to IT operations and security.
• Solid technical proficiency in system installation, configuration, and analysis, particularly in securing systems and knowledge of MDM solutions and cloud security.
• Proven ability in managing multiple projects effectively, ensuring security is integrated at all project stages.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across teams and regions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational and security challenges.
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Deep understanding of security best practices, vulnerability management, incident response, and security frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered IT operations tools and security modules.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages for security automation.
• Experience in threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response processes.
• Knowledge of zero-trust architecture.
