We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our rapidly expanding team. The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in aiding the team in fulfilling its financial reporting obligations. The ideal candidate possesses intellectual curiosity, a process-oriented approach, technical proficiency, and strong teamwork skills.

As a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing U.S. GAAP and local statutory financial statements.
  2. Compiling other essential financial reports required by our regulatory authorities.
  3. Assisting in the preparation of international statutory financial statements.
  4. Evaluating the accounting and financial reporting implications of new accounting standards or transactions.
  5. Analyzing monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  6. Collaborating with an external audit firm on both routine and non-routine matters.
  7. Identifying areas where improvements are needed to enhance efficiency or reinforce processes.
  8. Immersing yourself in blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies for enterprises and investors, our regulation-focused approach, and more!

Your qualifications should encompass:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience, with a requirement for public accounting experience. A combination of public accounting and private accounting with a focus on financial reporting is preferred.
  2. Preferred experience in start-up, technology, and/or financial services.
  3. A bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA license, and a strong grasp of U.S. GAAP.
  4. Familiarity with Netsuite ERP or other cloud-based accounting software is a plus.
  5. A drive for continuous enhancement of accounting operations, controls, and financial reporting processes, including leveraging systems and technologies to improve workflows and scalability.
  6. Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
