Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate individual to join our dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for a variety of projects closely related to our core business. This role involves actively contributing to the design of scalable applications across both frontend UI and backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of development activities, including backend service and operation development, proposing architectural decisions, design participation, coding, code review, and product implementation for developers and end-users.
• Lead the development and expansion of our company's products, such as Crypto.com Card, into new regions and countries.
• Provide technical support to address customer issues efficiently.
• Encourage innovation by remaining open to new technologies and advocating experimentation.
• Solve complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure by identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all implemented code and functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure team to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering projects.

Required Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for creating top-notch products to solve real-world issues, adaptable to various technologies, self-driven, quick learner, and possess a proactive approach.
• Willingness to embrace better ideas, enthusiasm for improvement, readiness to face challenges, and openness to new possibilities.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflicting requirements from multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge in financial domain or Blockchain technology is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Ruby, supplemented with Golang experience, is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is preferred.
• Previous experience in ensuring scalability, security, and optimizing performance is desired.
