Senior Backend Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a team to design, develop, enhance, and maintain software for diverse venture projects closely aligned with our core businesses using agile methodologies.
• Engage in the architecture design process for scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
• Contribute to backend service and operation development, propose architectural decisions, review designs, code, and implement products connecting developers and end-users.
• Enhance and extend the Crypto.com Card products to new regions and across countries.
• As a project owner, explore innovative solutions using new technologies and encourage experimentation.
• Resolve customer technical issues promptly and provide operational support.
• Address complex problems within a large-scale backend infrastructure by identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Effectively manage code documentation and functionalities implementation.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure team to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering goals.

Job Requirements

• Passion for crafting high-quality products, well-versed in various technologies, self-driven, and possess a proactive approach.
• Willingness to accept diverse viewpoints, strive for continuous improvement, and tackle challenges enthusiastically.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to balance multiple stakeholder demands effectively.
• Preference for candidates with financial domain knowledge or Blockchain technology expertise.
• Proficiency in Ruby; experience with Golang is a plus.
• Knowledge in Postgres, Redis, Kafka is desirable.
• Hands-on experience in ensuring scalability, security, and performance optimization.
