Senior Backend Developer - MainApp Platform Engineering

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various ventures projects closely aligned with our core businesses. This role involves active participation in the creation of scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Our team's primary focus is on developing and maintaining the backend platform services of our app.

The impact you will have:

• Engage in requirement reviews, analysis, architecture design, and technical solution evaluation.
• Contribute to system enhancements, major projects, and resolving technical challenges.
• Offer optimization suggestions to enhance system efficiency and reliability in business processes.
• Collaborate closely with product teams and tech teams to build core services and platforms.

Your background:

• Over 8 years of backend development experience, preferred experience in financial/trading systems.
• Strong proficiency in high-performance, distributed systems, modern backend technologies, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of trading system architecture, trading instruments, and tools.
• Proficient in Go/Ruby, Ruby on Rails / Elixir, with strong familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis. Experience with Event Sourcing.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and practice in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with RESTful API and GraphQL in frontend and backend development.
• Active contributor to GitHub projects, background in Golang projects preferred.
• Knowledge of Nginx, experience in frontend and backend deployment and operations.
• Strong English language skills, preference for proficient speakers in a professional setting. Regular consumption of English technical documentation.
• Proficient in agile development methodologies.
