Senior Backend Developer / Technical Team Lead -Equities

Job Summary:

We are searching for an experienced backend developer or proactive team lead to join our backend development unit. The ideal candidate must possess a robust background in constructing high-performance trading systems or trading tools focusing on equities and derivatives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the advancement of trading business systems and oversee technical teams.
• Guide the end-to-end advancement of trading tools and products from conceptualization to deployment.
• Engage in requirement assessments, analysis, architecture design, and assessment of technical solutions.
• Contribute to system enhancements, critical projects, and resolution of technical challenges.
• Present optimization recommendations for business processes to boost system efficiency and dependability.
• Collaborate closely with trading product teams to design core business modules and workflows.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in backend development, with solid domain expertise in financial/trading systems (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in spoken English (Mandatory).
• Strong command in high-performance, distributed systems. Proficiency in contemporary backend technologies and microservices architecture.
• Expertise in overall trading system architecture along with familiarity in trading instruments and tools.
• Proficient in Go/Ruby and Ruby on Rails. Extensive knowledge of at least one database system: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc. Familiarity with Event Sourcing.
• Thorough understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Previous exposure to RESTful API implementation in frontend and backend development.
