Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various venture projects closely aligned with our primary businesses. These projects are rapidly bootstrapped with a lean team. The ideal candidate will play a significant role in designing components for scalable applications, covering both frontend UI and backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in backend service and operations development, propose architectural decisions, engage in design activities, conduct design reviews, write code, review code, and implement products to facilitate communication between developers and end-users.
- Develop and expand our products into new regions and countries, focusing on components like user onboarding, KYC processes, EDD procedures, and more.
- Identify and address complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure, providing reliable trading information streams to customers.
- Offer technical and operational support to resolve customer issues, taking ownership of projects and fostering innovation through adoption of new technologies and encouraging experimentation.
- Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering projects.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented code and functionality.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Ruby and Golang, along with experience in other programming languages, is advantageous.
- Demonstrated project experience across various user-related processes like onboarding, KYC, EDD, referrals, affiliates, banners, rewards, among others.
- Passion for building high-quality products to address real-world challenges, being well-versed in diverse technologies, self-motivated, a quick learner, and exhibiting a proactive "get things done" attitude.
- Willingness to consider and implement better ideas from colleagues, strive for continuous improvement, embrace challenges and possibilities.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflicting requirements from multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of financial domain topics and blockchain technology is a plus.
- Proficiency in Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is preferred.
- Experience in addressing scalability, security, and performance optimization challenges.
