(Senior)Blockchain Security DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

At our company, the Security Team is integral in upholding user safety through the guidance of experienced cybersecurity professionals. The team is globally diverse and holds patents for cutting-edge security technologies embedded in our systems. Led by a distinguished CISO, this team prioritizes maintaining high industry standards by obtaining various certifications such as ISO27001, ISO27701, ISO22301, and more. Directly reporting to the CEO, our Security Team focuses on both extensive credentials and practical expertise to navigate the fast-paced crypto landscape effectively.

Our Cybersecurity and Data Privacy team, overseen by the Chief Information Security Officer, Jason Lau, emphasizes continual growth and a collaborative spirit. They have spearheaded the company to become the first in the crypto industry to achieve significant certifications. The team consists of functions ranging from Blockchain Security to Security Governance and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and sustain blockchain infrastructure
• Implement and recommend configurations for blockchain software and network setup
• Develop expertise in Blockchain technology, specifically public Blockchain
• Identify and communicate security risks associated with different blockchain technologies
• Establish and manage team's continuous devops lifecycle and automation
• Design and control cloud computing workload while ensuring cloud security posture
• Encourage software engineers or system administrators keen on blockchain/automation/infrastructure to apply

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• 3-5 years of experience in devops, system administration, or related roles (consideration for Junior position with less experience)
• Proficiency in deploying on various cloud platforms (Azure, Google, Amazon)
• Competence in deploying and maintaining monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
• Expertise in managing container infrastructures such as Kubernetes and docker-compose
• Experience with building, deploying, and maintaining logging tools (e.g., Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana)
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Ansible
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology (deployment experience a bonus)
• Strong grasp of traditional security areas including Linux, Networking, Firewall, and IDS/IPS
• Fixed on solving issues methodically with root cause analysis skills
