Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Analyst at Limit Break, you will play a crucial role within the Data Engineering team. Our team is responsible for building essential data infrastructure and applications supporting various aspects of our business, ranging from studio operations to analytics, user acquisition, monetization, and finance. We are dedicated to maximizing the value derived from data and analytics, continuously investing in new capabilities to enhance our operations. Our work spans real-time data processing to scalable data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
As a pivotal member of the Data Engineering team, your primary focus will involve taking charge of data processes. Collaborating closely with Data Pipeline Engineers and stakeholders in Live Operations and Marketing, you will develop tools, analytics, and dashboards integral to informed business decision-making. You will engage with diverse real-time data sources and work with a high scalable tech stack, including technologies such as Kafka, Imply Druid, EMR, Trino, and Airflow.
Requirements: Candidature Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, particularly on data science and engineering projects.
- At least 3 years of data engineering experience, with a focus on data analytics and dashboard creation.
- Proficiency in utilizing technologies like Druid, Trino/Presto, Hive, Kafka, and Superset.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Skilled in SQL and similar languages.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or R.
- Experience in writing extensively tested code, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with high-scale machine learning tools like Spark M/L, SageMaker, etc.
- Competence in CI/CD processes, testing frameworks, and containerization technologies like Docker.
