Senior Data Scientist (Content Understanding, NLP)

We are seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision (CV) to lead advancements in these fields. The role involves working on content understanding tasks like classification, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and image/video interpretation. You will be instrumental in building large-scale systems that support content moderation, recommendation engines, and search functionalities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance NLP/CV algorithms to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of content understanding pipelines.
• Implement and deploy scalable models (e.g., BERT, GPT, ViT, CLIP) in production environments.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
• Keep abreast of cutting-edge research and explore new algorithms for practical content understanding applications.
• Drive enhancements in systems to optimize content moderation, recommendation algorithms, and search processes.

Requirements:

• Attained a Master’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, EE, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Proficient in Python or C++ programming with familiarity in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Strong foundation in machine learning/deep learning and hands-on experience with common NLP and/or CV models.
• Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, or Flink is advantageous.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in algorithm/model development.
• Background in content safety, recommendation systems, or search mechanisms is highly preferred.
