Responsibilities

• Build a flexible and comprehensive data warehouse system that caters to business needs effectively and reduces repetitive development tasks.
• Design data models, conduct testing and deployment, monitor online data jobs, and proficiently solve intricate issues, especially performance optimization and calculation logic enhancements.
• Engage in data governance initiatives, including establishing metadata management and data quality monitoring protocols.
• Contribute to technical team development, learning, and skill improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in designing and developing data lake and data warehouse infrastructure.
• Thorough comprehension of data warehouse modeling and governance practices.
• Proficient in data warehouse development methodologies like dimensional modeling and information factory.
• Expertise in Java, Scala, Python, and Hive & Spark SQL programming languages.
• Knowledge of OLAP technologies such as kylin, impala, presto, druid, etc.
• Competence in Big Data batch pipeline development.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Delta lake, Hudi, Presto, Hbase, and diverse Big Data components.
• Experience with AWS Big Data services is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, system design capabilities, and clear business requirement comprehension.
• Preferred experience in addressing production challenges in companies with high data volumes.
