Senior DataOps Engineer - MainApp infrastructure

We are looking for a team member to participate in the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of software for a variety of ventures projects that complement our core businesses. These projects are executed quickly with a lean team. In this role, you will actively contribute to designing various components crucial for the scalability of applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Clickhouse, among others, ensuring system stability and data security.
• Manage and administer Linux systems, proficient in common commands, with scripting capabilities in Shell, Python, or similar languages.
• Maintain big data components on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and possess hands-on experience with container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Establish and maintain monitoring systems to monitor platform performance, fine-tune configurations, allocate resources effectively, and troubleshoot performance issues using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, etc.
• Deploy, upgrade, and scale core big data components including Flink, Kafka, Spark, Impala, Clickhouse, and Kudu.
• Develop and keep up technical documentation related to operations, and contribute to platform solution design and upgrades.
• Explore and integrate new technologies to streamline operational processes and provide technical guidance to assist client teams in enhancing their capabilities.
• Preferred: Experience in n8n workflow development.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with CDH/CDP/HDP or similar Hadoop distributions, with demonstrated experience in big data platform operations being an advantage.
• Strong Linux administration skills and scripting ability in Shell, Python, or equivalent languages.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Sound knowledge of big data components and their performance tuning, with the ability to independently address stability and scalability issues.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills essential for documentation and solution delivery.
• Self-motivated individual with a keen interest in new technologies, capable of applying innovative strategies to improve operations and enhance efficiency.
