Junior Operations Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Junior Operations Analyst, providing support to the Institutional Sales team. This position requires a blend of operational tasks, reporting, and process enhancement, perfect for someone who excels in structured procedures and data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities include handling client account requests, ensuring data integrity, producing reports, and implementing process improvements through tools like Salesforce and Tableau. Collaborating closely with the Senior Operations Manager, you will contribute significantly to maintaining efficient client support and enhancing operational standards.
Responsibilities:
Executing Operations
Manage various client account requests promptly and accurately within set timelines.
Carry out routine data checks in Salesforce to uphold system consistency.
Keep operational records up to date and in compliance, including maintaining trackers.
Generate and circulate regular reports to institutional clients (e.g., Daily MM Report, client activity summaries).
Reporting & Analysis
Develop and uphold Salesforce reports and dashboards to monitor client trading performance.
Assist in building Tableau dashboards for tracking client activity and operational metrics.
Analyze client trading data, performance metrics, and account standings.
Provide sales and account managers with on-demand reports and insights.
Process Enhancement & Automation
Manage and optimize automation tools like Slack workflows utilized by the team.
Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend solutions for automation and optimization.
Document revised processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing efforts.
Collaboration
Work closely with account managers, compliance, data, and finance teams to address operational requests.
Aid the Senior Operations Manager in strategic projects and high-priority tasks.
Serve as a dependable point of contact for operational inquiries within the sales team.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, business analysis, or sales support (ideally within fintech/finance).
 - Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure.
 - Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with Salesforce reporting is a must.
 - Prior experience with Tableau (or similar BI tools) is highly desirable.
 - Interest or background in workflow automation (e.g., Slack workflows, macros, scripts).
 - Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
 - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
