Role Overview
The role involves being a Senior DevOps Engineer in our Ethereum Staking Infrastructure team. Your focus will be on managing and innovating Ethereum blockchain infrastructure holding over $4 billion in assets. This position merges DevOps practices with software development, emphasizing Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and Golang applications. You will be responsible for developing tools in Golang to enhance automation, monitoring, and reliability in a highly secure and scalable environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Deploying scalable, secure, and stable cloud-based deployments for Ethereum staking
- Developing tools in Golang for automation, reliability, and monitoring in staking operations
- Managing infrastructure across multiple cloud providers like AWS and GCP with a focus on performance and security
- Automating deployment processes and creating blockchain key management solutions using Kubernetes
- Implementing security measures and managing secure storage tools like Hashicorp Vault
- Designing and maintaining custom Terraform modules for efficient cloud infrastructure management
- Improving infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines continuously
- Communicating technical strategies and progress to Engineering Leadership and Product teams
- Advocating best practices in cloud infrastructure, networking, and security
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers in the team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in deploying on Kubernetes
- Software development experience and proficiency in programming languages like Golang and Python
- Expertise in deploying to cloud infrastructure services such as AWS and GCP
- Experience in managing highly available and secure environments at scale
- Strong Linux knowledge, particularly in networking and security best practices
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployment
- Experience mentoring junior-level engineers
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes-related security best practices
- Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Knowledge of decentralized consensus mechanisms and Ethereum technologies
- Understanding of secure storage tools like HashiCorp Vault and access management tools
- Experience in developing Terraform modules

Base Salary Range: The salary for this role ranges from CAD $140,000 to $170,000 and USD $140,000 to $170,000.
