Senior DevOps Engineer, Trading Technology

Currently, we are in search of a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a key role in designing and implementing our cloud-based microservices infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess experience in supporting large-scale, mission-critical applications.

In this position, you will spearhead the design, development, and optimization of our next-generation infrastructure. Your responsibilities will also include leading the migration of applications to this updated environment, collaborating closely with Development and QA teams to automate and resolve production issues, and providing on-call support as part of your duties.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and manage tools to automate operational tasks and enhance engineering productivity
• Automate continuous delivery processes and deploy on-demand capacity management solutions
• Create and implement configuration and infrastructure solutions for internal deployments
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues as they arise
• Address and resolve technical issues promptly
• Recommend architectural improvements and process enhancements
• Assess new technology options and vendor products to align with business goals
• Ensure the security of critical systems by implementing top-tier security solutions and practices

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of technical experience in a similar role supporting large-scale production systems
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Sound knowledge of Linux-based environments
• Demonstrated experience working in large-scale, distributed settings
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or a similar language
• Proficient with tools like Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and related technologies
• Preferred experience with Kafka and Elasticsearch
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering)
