Job Opportunity Overview
As part of the top two global CeFi exchanges, OKX is seeking a professional to lead institutional trading product planning and business expansion. This role entails engaging with prominent institutions and partners globally, such as HFTs, asset managers, hedge funds, and market makers, to drive growth within the Crypto institutional trading sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans for OKX's institutional products, covering systems like institutional accounts, custody, order execution, risk control, and APIs.
- Collaborate with institutional business development, fostering strong relationships with top clients to design tailored product solutions that increase trading volume and AUM within the institutional trading domain.
- Stay updated on industry trends, explore new products, like third-party custody solutions, and drive growth in trading volumes and new institutional clients.
- Analyze market structures within spot and derivatives lines, improve platform liquidity, trading volume, and revenue through fee strategies and market making tactics.
- Lead the institutional trading product team, boost product innovation and cross-border collaboration, and allocate resources efficiently to meet business objectives.
Qualifications
- Background in investment banking with expertise in trading system development and derivatives growth.
- Proficient in working with institutional clients and quantitative trading strategies, possessing in-depth knowledge of derivatives market roles and structures.
- Solid understanding of traditional financial industry development, regulatory frameworks in traditional finance and Crypto, and business models across the financial sector.
- Proven track record in building and scaling financial products and leading global teams of over 20 individuals.
- Self-motivated with a logical mindset, passion for learning, open-mindedness, empathy, and insight.
