We are currently looking for a talented Senior Engineer with expertise in DevOps/SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our blockchain infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust DevOps practices, automate deployment processes, and improve system performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Automation: Designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure using tools like K8S, Terraform, or Ansible on GCP and AWS.
  • Deployment and Scaling: Automating the deployment, scaling, and management of blockchain nodes and related services.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for blockchain and backend applications to ensure efficient and reliable release processes.
  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Establishing and maintaining monitoring solutions for the entire infrastructure, collaborating with development teams for application-level monitoring and alerting, and participating in on-call rotations for incident response.
  • Security and Compliance: Implementing and enforcing security best practices across the infrastructure, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Capacity Planning and Performance Optimization: Analyzing system performance, making recommendations for improvements, and collaborating with teams to plan for future infrastructure needs.
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer in a blockchain/crypto environment.
  • Strong scripting language skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with blockchain technologies (Ethereum, Cosmos).
  • Significant experience with AWS public cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Strong programming/scripting skills with knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Go, Ruby, Bash, etc.
  • Solid understanding of Linux OS, networking fundamentals, and security protocols.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, Azure, and related services.
  • Hands-on experience with operating microservices architecture, SaaS products, and popular web services.
  • AWS System Architect certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with the challenges, opportunities, and self-direction in a startup.

This is a part-time/contract position with a salary range of $175,000 - $200,000 per year.
