About the Role:

As a Lead Staff Unity Engineer at Limit Break, you will have the opportunity to lead an exciting project involving the development of a cutting-edge 3D mobile game. Your role will involve collaborating with a dynamic team to refine the game's concept, engage with stakeholders, and oversee the transition from prototype to full production.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and direction, make key architectural decisions, and ensure best practices are followed by the team.
  • Write and review code, optimize performance, and tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Lead the design and implementation of a new Unity 3D game project from initial prototype to full production.
  • Collaborate closely with design leads and team members to iterate rapidly on the game prototype.
  • Work with various teams to identify focus areas and find effective solutions for each development phase.
  • Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met by effectively prioritizing tasks and roles.
  • Improve processes, pipelines, and best practices for game development.
  • Conduct code and architecture reviews to maintain high standards.
  • Integrate new technologies and techniques to enhance workflow efficiency and create secure, maintainable games and applications.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in live service mobile games
  • 5-7 years of experience in Unity 3D game development
  • Strong sense of initiative and ownership
  • Experience in developing a game from prototype to launch and shipping, preferably with Unity
  • Proficiency in system architecture, software design, and production software development best practices
  • Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset to handle tasks efficiently

  • Extensive understanding of Unity 3D game and tools development
