As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will contribute to building and maintaining high-quality UIs for various projects, collaborating closely with design and product teams to enhance existing UI functionalities. This position involves working with a diverse range of stakeholders globally to ensure the seamless implementation of software.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 5 years of frontend software engineering experience, possess strong expertise in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, and have hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks. Knowledge of Node.js, design systems, and testing methodologies is essential. Furthermore, an interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology would be advantageous for this role.

In terms of compensation, the average base salary for this role is between $180,000 to $240,000 CAD, depending on the individual's level and location. The package also includes equity and an annual performance bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design and product teams to create new UIs for upcoming initiatives
- Enhance existing UI functionality across multiple products
- Develop reusable code for future iterations
- Improve the health of the codebase
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand implementation requirements
- Provide mentorship to peers through code reviews and sharing best practices
- Support and optimize performance of existing applications
Skills & Experience:
Required:
- 5+ years of frontend software engineering experience
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with Node.js, Express applications, and design systems
- Knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
- Familiarity with Tailwind, React-Query, NextJS
