Senior Game Economy Designer

About The Role:

As a Senior Economy Designer, the primary responsibility entails crafting and shaping game economies for internal and partner games. The key focus is to devise designs that enhance player engagement and revenue generation for the products.

This position presents a distinctive and demanding opportunity to expand knowledge about the capabilities of video games in captivating players, and to enhance expertise across various game genres in the web3 realm.

You Will Be Empowered To:

• Formulate detailed game economy proposals that strike a balance between player experience and monetization potential.
• Recognize, address, and alleviate the constraints and risks associated with developing open economies for each game.
• Construct comprehensive economic models, both high-level and detailed, to validate game economies before implementation.
• Take charge of the economy collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, elucidating the reasoning behind economic suggestions.
• Supervise the entire economy design process for each project, keeping stakeholders informed about progress and decisions proactively.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing intricate game economies.
• Profound comprehension of player motivations, enabling the creation of targeted game systems and features that leverage these motivations for positive outcomes.
• Expertise in macro and microeconomics, facilitating the understanding of economic actions from individual and ecosystem viewpoints.
• Proficiency in modeling and forecasting, crafting robust game economy models that foresee the impact of game systems throughout the product lifecycle, aiding Product and Design teams in decision-making.
• Ability to base decisions on data insights, utilizing data to derive optimal solutions for product economies.
• Strong collaborative skills with Game Design, ensuring effective communication and the development of an economy aligning with both player needs and product objectives.
