Full-Stack Engineer
Description
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various projects closely linked to our core business. These projects are fast-paced, bootstrapped initiatives carried out by a lean team. As part of our team, you will actively contribute to designing different components to create scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Participate in full stack development activities, suggest architectural decisions, engage in designs, conduct design review, code review, implement, test, and release
- Construct and maintain a high-performance, high-availability, and adaptable platform for derivatives trading systems
- Establish a deployable system with quick turnaround time, integrated with automated testing and continuous integration and delivery
- Address and resolve complex problems related to backend infrastructure and platforms, working closely with the security team, operations, and infrastructure
- Collaborate on large-scale platform solutions and implement them effectively
- Coordinate with DevOps to enhance the technical stack for long-term engineering projects
- Effectively document all code developed and functionalities implemented
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java and strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments
- Experience in developing low latency, GC-free, and large-scale systems
- Preferred experience in responsive programming and websocket development
- Knowledge of optimizing applications, enhancing performance, and improving fault capability
- Strong understanding of design principles, design patterns, and automated testing practices
- Preference for experience in microservices design, development, and deployment
- Familiarity with modern development methodologies such as agile development, test-driven development, and scrum
- Good communication skills in English – reading, writing, and listening
