Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Zurich. The role will involve optimizing large language models, integrating retrieval-augmented generation, and working on multi-agent architectures. The ideal candidate will drive advancements in our LLM-based solutions through research, innovative designs, implementation, evaluation, and optimizations. Collaboration with other team members will be key to enhancing code generation using LLMs in our products.
Responsibilities:
- Design various LLM training datasets to enhance model accuracy and generalization.
- Lead post-training optimization by incorporating curated content for tailored pipelines.
- Develop processes for creating and validating high-quality LLM training data and synthetic data generation.
- Establish evaluative frameworks to assess LLM performance systematically.
- Architect, refine, and evaluate engines for retrieval-augmented generation to improve accuracy and speed.
- Utilize multi-agent architectures and prompt engineering for optimal LLM solutions.
- Conduct experiments and implement latest research findings in LLMs for impactful results.
- Collaborate across teams to align solutions with business objectives.
- Implement high-quality LLM components and integrations with detailed documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in large language models and machine learning frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and a practical approach to solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with various LLM architectures.
- Background in using LLMs for code generation, particularly in low-resource languages.
- Understanding of reinforcement learning concepts.
- Hands-on experience with annotation tools and dataset management.
- Knowledge of bias and fairness issues in AI.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
