Senior Officer, Supply Chain

Overview

Our client is looking for a dynamic Business Operations professional to take charge of overseeing the full operational lifecycle and managing the transportation of goods across various Asian markets. This role involves close collaboration with teams in Logistics, Procurement, and Finance within a high-performing startup environment, focused on executing successful account plans with retail partners.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth product flow throughout Asian markets, from international freight to 3PL coordination and last-mile delivery, to maintain uninterrupted availability despite regional complexities.
• Develop structured workflows for the team, converting new brand launches and market entries into well-defined, documented playbooks for efficient and repeatable operations.
• Maintain a balance between procurement and inventory management by working closely with Brand Principals, leveraging sales velocity and lead-time insights for informed "Open-to-Buy" decisions that support growth and cash flow management.
• Take ownership of the operational technology stack, leading process optimization efforts to introduce automation and system enhancements aligned with the operational strategy.
• Facilitate regional expansion by overseeing essential requirements like customs compliance, localized labeling, and financial reconciliation across markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree coupled with 2-6 years of experience in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Management Consulting, or a rapidly growing FMCG or e-commerce setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables, Index/Match) with a strategic systems-thinking approach.
• Professional fluency in English and Mandarin; proficiency in Cantonese is advantageous.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments, value teamwork, and exhibit the ability to work autonomously to achieve objectives.
• Exceptional candidates with additional experience may be considered for a Managerial position.
