Senior Operations Manager
** About the role**
The Senior Operations Manager will report to the Vice President of Operations, North America, and will be accountable for supporting the day-to-day operations of the banking partnerships at [Crypto.com], primarily focusing on the Canadian region. Additionally, the role involves providing support for Exchange projects as required.
This position requires a high level of collaboration across various cross-functional teams globally. The role is hands-on, necessitating a self-starting individual with the capacity to manage a high volume of tasks internally and externally with vendors until resolution. An emphasis on being solution-oriented and maintaining operational efficiencies is crucial.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate various tasks related to card and fiat operations
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and devising solutions
- Oversee the onboarding process for new partners and vendors
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of operational processes and procedures
- Lead initiatives for process improvements
- Manage internal reviews with business operations teams during the introduction of new product features, including participation in quality assurance testing
- Manage external processes with bank partners when launching new product features and securing approvals
- Monitor the performance of newly released product features and provide recommendations for enhancements
- Serve as the main point of contact for banking partners on a daily basis, organizing incoming requests and directing them to the appropriate teams until resolution
- Assist as needed in onboarding efforts for global acquirers
- Willingness to engage in ad hoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, operations, business analysis, and customer support, preferably in banking, payment companies, start-ups, or fintech
- Prior experience in cards or payments is advantageous
- Proven self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to set and meet high expectations
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt swiftly in a fast-moving startup environment
- Strong prioritization skills with punctual follow-up
- Collaborative approach to work within a team setting
- High level of organization and exceptional presentation skills to represent oneself and the company effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, conveying ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, JIRA, and Confluence
- Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally
