Senior OTC Sales Trader - MENA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join the OTC team at Binance, a prominent player in the global blockchain ecosystem. The team oversees various functions, including spot and derivatives OTC trading, agency execution, and API liquidity solutions. The OTC Sales Trader will contribute to expanding client outreach and trade flow for the OTC desk, playing a crucial role in a fast-growing business segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end OTC trade processes for institutional clients, including providing price quotes, executing trades, and managing internal hedge requirements.
• Drive trading volumes and offer market insights to clients by understanding their liquidity needs and building strong relationships through regular communication.
• Collaborate closely with the VIP sales team to identify new clients and business prospects.
• Monitor spot and derivatives electronic OTC flow, adjust risk metrics, and execute trades on DeFi platforms as required.
• Support various ad-hoc tasks related to trade inquiries, risk management, post-trade analysis, and algorithm performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with trade operations, developers, and quants to enhance middle-office operations, booking processes, reporting mechanisms, and internal pricing strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong educational background, ideally holding a Master's degree in fields like finance, engineering, or mathematics. Possess at least 5 years of experience as an OTC Sales Trader in the financial/crypto industry.
• In-depth knowledge of OTC trade lifecycles, pricing and execution methods, settlements, and various market participants such as exchanges, liquidity providers, and prime brokers.
• Sound understanding of financial markets, market microstructure, liquidity concepts, and risk management strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, self-driven, proactive, and independent in approach.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with a diverse global team spanning different locations and functions.
• Experience in handling electronic OTC flows and structured products is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL is desirable.
• Interest or experience in the crypto/DeFi industry is a bonus.
