ABOUT US
We are Clearmatics, a blockchain protocol engineering company focused on creating decentralized financial market infrastructures that are more transparent, efficient, and resilient compared to traditional market systems. Our goal is to address existing issues in the real economy, such as "missing markets," by enabling peer-to-peer trading and settlement in new markets utilizing digital assets tied to real-world risk factors.
Since our establishment in 2015, we have been strong supporters of Open Source development and actively engaged in blockchain and cryptography research communities, as well as decentralized infrastructure initiatives. We are now expanding our team and seeking a skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join us in realizing our vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a part of our specialized team, you will play a crucial role in applying Platform Engineering principles to design, build, and maintain frameworks, tools, and infrastructure that empower engineers to develop autonomously and securely. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to designing platform solutions that enable teams to manage their project deployments
- Implementing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD solutions that are efficient, secure, and scalable
- Managing multi-Cloud integration, emphasizing security and reliability
- Setting up performance and security monitoring and alerting infrastructures, developing strategies for tracking SLOs and KPIs
- Responding to incidents, conducting troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Supporting the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of blockchain validator node infrastructure
- Staying abreast of evolving requirements, new technologies, and alternative approaches
- Providing expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems or Platform Engineering
- Proficiency in Linux infrastructure, cloud services, automation tools, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation and operations
- Experience in developing REST APIs, backend services, and automated pipelines
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub CI, Travis CI, Jenkins) and infrastructure-as-code technologies (e.g., Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes)
- Expertise in cloud-based monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
