Senior PR Manager - Vietnam

We are currently seeking a seasoned individual to join our team as the Senior PR Manager for the important crypto market of Vietnam in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will develop and oversee end-to-end PR strategies for Vietnam, encompassing media relations, thought leadership initiatives, issues management, and regulatory-conscious communications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Binance’s tailored PR and communications strategy for Vietnam to align with global positioning and regional objectives.
• Safeguard and enhance Binance's reputation, credibility, and public perception in the Vietnam market.
• Provide strategic guidance to regional and global stakeholders on communication-related opportunities and challenges specific to Vietnam. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Foster and manage strong relationships with key Vietnamese media outlets across various sectors such as business, finance, tech, and mainstream media.
• Secure impactful media coverage through features, interviews, commentary, and profiles to position Binance as a trusted voice in areas including crypto, blockchain, financial literacy, and responsible technology adoption. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Policy teams to ensure all communications adhere to the regulatory landscape of Vietnam.
• Handle communications related to regulatory developments, enforcement news, or policy dialogues in a composed, factual, and responsible manner.
• Lead or assist in managing communications during challenging situations or crisis scenarios as needed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Drive PR initiatives for product launches, partnerships, campaigns, and corporate announcements within the Vietnamese market.
• Ensure messaging resonates locally while maintaining consistency with regional and global narratives.
• Coordinate effectively with Marketing, Social, Community, and Global PR teams to support unified communication efforts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Manage local PR agencies and external partners, emphasizing quality, consistency, and accountability.
• Serve as the primary PR contact for Vietnam-focused initiatives across internal teams.
• Offer strategic counsel to senior leadership and spokespeople concerning media strategies and positioning. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Monitor PR performance metrics including media coverage quality, sentiment, share of voice, and message effectiveness.
• Provide regular performance reports containing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

• 8–12+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or corporate affairs.
• Extensive background in finance, fintech, technology, crypto, or other regulated industries.
• Demonstrated ability in managing relationships with Vietnamese media and stakeholders at a senior level.
• Prior experience in handling sensitive or high-risk communications is highly desirable. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Proficient in storytelling, writing, and engaging with media.
• Skilled in making sound judgments and decisions under pressure.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.
