About the Opportunity:

As the Product Manager, your role involves discovering new markets and revenue opportunities and innovating new products to meet market needs. You will act as an internal advocate to build consensus and influence senior management with new product ideas. Your responsibilities include identifying, defining, implementing, and instrumenting market research, product design, product implementation, and product release processes.

You will define, build, and scale OKX's payment systems, enabling global money movement to provide our customers with access to a wide range of crypto assets. Your role encompasses defining and managing product roadmaps, features (including user experience), and end-to-end integration with local and international payment providers while proactively managing associated risks. Tracking KPIs and driving the growth of your product features is at the core of the role, and you will collaborate with multiple key stakeholders, including designers, engineers, legal, risk, compliance, marketing, customer support, and finance teams across the organization to align them with your product roadmap and deliverables.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Take ownership of your payment products (ACH, Cards, Wire, SEPA, FPS, FAST, PIX, etc.) – you truly own them!
  • Define and drive every aspect of your product, from developing the roadmap, backlogs, and iterations to achieving your goals and KPIs.
  • Outline features, technical integration requirements, and work with your team of product designers, content writers, data analysts, and engineers to bring your product to life.
  • Verify your team's deliverables and align your customer support teams, including all key stakeholders, for feature releases and announcements to your retail users.
  • Manage your product dashboard by tracking all your product data metrics.
  • Drive adoption and usage of your products, working closely with marketing and risk teams, and keeping a close eye on customer feedback to optimize the product experience.

What We Look for in You:

  • Product management experience in the payments space, with previous experience in payments clearing and settlement.
  • Visionary mindset for trending and future crypto market needs and changes in the payments industry.
  • Innovative product thinker who can achieve business goals with unique product offerings and business models.
  • Prior experience in designing and building payments systems and an understanding of risk management associated with these payment options.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing resources and priorities. You're opinionated and willing to make decisions with limited information, and you can navigate through ambiguity to advocate for resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear and actionable plans for product development, engineering, design, and marketing.
  • Technical aptitude, comfortable delving into the product, platform, and implementation details. You can engage with engineering beyond just product and user experience needs and are willing to design scalable and extensible solutions.
  • Metrics-driven, with proficiency in identifying, defining, tracking, and acting upon metrics. You have experience identifying KPIs and working with engineering and analytics teams on instrumentation and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges and a passion for crypto and blockchain innovations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
