BitGo is currently seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer to join the Blockchain Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will assist in developing high-quality software and platforms for enterprise clients. As BitGo handles a substantial volume of cryptocurrency transactions, it is crucial that our applications exhibit speed, precision, scalability, and security. Our integrated platforms interface with various exchanges, agencies, and governments globally, utilizing cutting-edge technology to construct and maintain them.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test plans and scripts, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting results.
  • Perform user experience testing and report discovered bugs.
  • Effectively document and track defects.
  • Conduct REST API and SDK testing using appropriate tools and script writing techniques.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand features and develop test plans/checklists accordingly.
  • Analyze application logs, work with developers to resolve defects, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Foster a test-driven engineering development culture.
  • Engage with Engineering and Product teams to implement process enhancements.
  • Generate and interpret unit test coverage reports, striving to enhance coverage percentages.

Skills & Experience:

Required:

  • 3-5 years of testing experience.
  • Proficiency in flawlessly writing test scripts in at least one programming language.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Rest Assured.
  • Background in building a robust automation framework with comprehensive knowledge of available frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA for software testing.
  • Experience in UI and API automation and manual testing.
  • Ability to craft and execute test cases and scripts.
  • Knowledge of Cucumber or Playwright is advantageous.
  • Practical experience with version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines with the capacity to develop and deploy automation scripts within pipelines.
  • Experience with automation frameworks based on Node.js, TypeScript, or JavaScript is a plus.
