(Senior)Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (Crypto.com APP)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various ventures projects closely related to our core businesses. These projects are typically fast-paced and require a lean team. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in designing different components of scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans and test cases, with a focus on utilizing code to tackle technical challenges and reduce the test cycle duration through automation.
• Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results, and actively participate in daily QA activities.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance the test frameworks, tools, and technologies used within the organization to ensure high quality standards.
• Collaborate with Development, Test, and Product Management teams to devise and implement effective test and validation strategies.
• Execute and manage test cases and results, reporting on test and defect metrics.
• Design, execute, and troubleshoot automated test scenarios across our systems.
• Contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Assist in establishing a Continuous Integration (CI) environment and engage in continuous process improvement activities.
• Identify necessary enhancements in the test and development processes, contributing to automation tools that cater to specific needs.
• Uphold high-quality standards in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in mobile testing and automated test techniques, emphasizing quality throughout the software development cycle.
• Proficiency in REST and WebSocket API automation testing using languages like Python or Java.
• Familiarity with various frameworks such as Pytest, Pytest-bdd, Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and proficiency in coding and debugging skills.
• Proficient in design and development using Python or Java.
• Knowledge of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading concepts.
• Ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Exceptional customer focus, problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Some exposure to continuous integration practices like Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Preferably, experience working in an agile environment.
• Capacity to work on Windows, Linux is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm for enhancing code quality through collaboration with the development team.
• Demonstrated competence in adhering to coding standards and active participation in code reviews.
